Antonio Martin Cunha, 76, of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday. He was the husband of Claire L. (Arel) Cunha, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Manuel Cunha and Mary P. (Pacheco) Perry. A longtime employee of Lightolier, he was also a silversmith, having worked at various local silver manufacturing companies since the age of 16. Besides his wife, Antonio is survived by his son, SMSgt. Gregory M. Cunha and his fiancee, Dawn Costa; grandchildren, Sgt. Joshua Cunha and his wife, Nichole (Buckley) and Jessica Ferguson and her husband Clifford; great grandson, CJ Ferguson; and several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Ellen Gauthier. Following his wishes, he was cremated. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held in Holy Trinity Parish Church, Date and Time TBA. Please omit flowers.
