Antonio D. DaSilva, 82, of Tiverton, RI, husband of the late Margarida (Barbosa) Silva, passed away at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Ponta Delgada, St. Michael, Azores, a son of the late Mariano DaSilva and the late Liliana (Brazil) Medeiros, he emigrated to Tiverton in 1967 where he lived most of his life.

Prior to is retirement, he had worked for many years at Robin Rug of Bristol, RI. He was a member of the Don Carlos Club and the Ateneu Luso Americano Club. A soccer enthusiast, his favorite team was Belenenses.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews, including his caregivers Nellie O'Donnell, Luis Silva and Antonio Silva. He was also a brother of the late Jose DaSilva, Armando DaSilva, and Luis DaSilva.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, December 16th, in Santo Christo Church followed by his private committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
