Antonio A. "Pão de Trigo" Correia, 49, passed away on March 13, 2010 after a brief illness. He was the husband of Rosa (Barreira) Correia, with whom he shared 19 years of marriage. Born in Ajuda Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, he was son of the late Manuel Carvalho Correia and Ema de Lurdes (Grota) Correia. A Fall River resident for 23 years, he was an avid fisherman and belonged to the Our Lady of Light Society. Survivors include brothers, Leonardo Correia (wife – Maria Gilberta), Laudalino Correia (wife – Olga), Daniel Correia (wife – Lucy), Jose (Josezinho) Correia (wife – Fatima) and Eduardo Correia (wife – Fatima); sisters, Fatima Machado (husband – Nicolau) and Filomena Farias (husband – Serafim); and 25 nieces and nephews. His funeral Mass was celebrated in Espirito Santo Church. Pallbearers Derek Correia, Carlos, Ricardo, and Lenny Machado, Jose Carvalho and Henrique Correia brought Antonio to his final resting place at Notre Dame Cemetery.
