Antonio Martins, the husband of Etelvina (Cunha) Martins, passed away on July 14, 2017, at Southpointe Nursing Home in Fall River at the age of 93. Mr. Martins was born in Aldeia Nova, Mangualde, Portugal, and was a son of the late Artur and Maria de Jesus Martins. Antonio was a farmer in Portugal until he emigrated to the United States in 1975. Mr. Martins had held various manufacturing jobs prior to his retirement.

He leaves: 9 children, Aurora Viegas and her husband Jose, Jose Martins and his wife Connie, Rosa Miranda and her husband Carlos, Fatima Melo and her husband Idelfonso, Pam Horan and her husband Ed, Adelaide Farias and her husband Louis all of Fall River, Amadeu Martins and his wife Linda of Assonet, Gabe Martins and his wife Anabella of North Dartmouth and Fern Camara and her husband Michael of Westport; 19 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, many nieces & nephews.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday, July 18th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
