Antonio Medeiros, 74, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday after a short illness. Husband of Maria (Pereira) Medeiros. Born in St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Jose Medeiros Maucabelo and Apalonia Fonseca. A carpenter by trade, he also worked in the textile industry for many years. Beloved father of Victor Medeiros (wife-Nellie) and Antonio Medeiros (wife-Heather); grandfather of Corey, Derik and Nathan Medeiros; brother of Maria Melo, Victor Medeiros and the late Manuel Maucabelo; brother-in-law of Maria Soares (husband-the late Miguel) and Jose Pereira (wife-Lucia). He also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, March 1st, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
