Antonio R. Miranda, 65, of Westport passed away Sunday after a long illness. Husband of Therese (Bernier) Miranda. Born in Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Joao and Maria (Raposo) Miranda. He was a retired textile worker. Beloved father of Paula Bailey (husband-Andrew), Kevin Miranda and Corinne Bowman (husband-Daniel), grandfather of Ryan Miranda, Zachary and Jacob Bailey, and Kyra Bowman; brother of Manuel and John Miranda, Theresa Rezendes, Margarida Dumas, Lucilia Rego, Clara Viveiros and the late Manuela Orlando. Tony also leaves many nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was offered on Friday, February 18th, at Our Lady of Grace Church in Westport, followed by a commital service at Notre Dame Cemetery.
