Antonio N. Moniz, 70, of Fall River, husband of Maria Teresa (Oliveira) Moniz, passed away on September 23, 2022, at St. Anne's Hospital after a short illness. Born on the island of Santa Maria in the Azores, a son of the late Miguel Moniz and the late Maria do Carmo Araujo, he emigrated to Fall River in 1975.

He worked at the former Carlos Auto Body for many years. Antonio enjoyed fishing and hunting, and was an avid Benfica fan.

Besides his wife, he is survived by: three children, Stephanie Moniz, Stacy Nor (husband Bophoun), and Corey Moniz all of Fall River; four siblings, Fatima Carvalho, Odilia Sousa, and Ines Loura all of Santa Maria, Azores, and Jose Moniz of Fall River; two grandchildren, Ethan and Sofia; and several nieces and nephews. He was also a brother of the late Jaime Moniz.

His Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, September 27th, during a visitation period in our Fall River Chapel. A private cremation followed. Please omit flowers. In lieu of, please consider making a donation in Antonio's memory to a charity of your choice.
