Antonio P. Melo, 90, formerly of Holden St., passed away Friday at Sarah Brayton Nursing Center. Husband of Maria Lina Melo. Raised in Terceira, Azores, by his mother, the late Odelia Pacheco Melo and the late Joaquim Carrega, he was a retired machine operator and an avid fisherman. Father of the late Durvalina Santos, Antone leaves his grandchilden, Susan Strollo and Sandra Boucher; 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, February 1st, in Espirito Santo Church followed his committal service at Notre Dame Cemetery.
