Obituary

Antonio Victorino Pavao, 81, of Fall River, husband of Esaura (Raposo) Pavao, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, January 11, 2020 in Fall River.

Born in Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria (Carvalho) Pavao.

Prior to his retirement he was a shipping clerk for many years at Quaker Fabric. Antonio played the saxophone in Our Lady of Light Band and was a tremendous fan of Porto Soccer Club.

Besides his wife of fifty-three years, he is survived by: four sons, Danny Pavao, Edward Pavao, Nelson Pavao and his wife, Sharon, and Tony Pavao and his wife, Michelle, of Westport; six grandchildren, Brandon Roberts, Alanna Pavao, Jade Pavao, Ian Pavao, Jillian Pavao and Nixon Pavao; a sister, Maria Medeiros and her husband, Gabriel, of Fall River; and several nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, January 15th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
