Antonio R. Raposo,79, of Fall River, passed away on Monday, Husband of Maria (Pimentel) Raposo to whom he had been married for 56 years. Born in Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Jose R. and Maria (Couto) Raposo. A retired laborer, he had worked for Perini Corp. and later E.T. & L. Construction Co. Antonio enjoyed gardening and spending quality time with his grandchildren. Beloved father of Vidalia Fernandes, Gloria Diogo and Elizabeth Thomas all of Fall River, Antonio Raposo, Jr. of New Bedford, Tillie Amaral of FL and Natalie Wicklund of NC; brother of Maria Miranda of Westport and the late Manuel, Jose, Henrique and Joao Raposo and Laurinda Farias. He also leaves 16 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. His funeral Mass was celebrated in Espirito Santo Church. He was laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemetery.
