Antonio L. Raposo, 86, of Westport, husband of the Maria C. Raposo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Charlton Memorial Hospital following a short illness.

Born in Ajuda Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel L. Raposo and the late Mariana (Viveiros-Manica) Raposo.

Prior to his retirement, he worked for Geneva construction for many years. Antonio enjoyed fishing in his spare time and was a longtime member of Our Lady of Light Society.

Antonio is survived by his children, Donaria Carvalho and her husband, Jose, and Fernando Raposo both of Brooksville, Florida; Guida Raposo, Lisa Raposo and Antonio Raposo all of Westport, and a brother Manuel Raposo of Fall River, and was the brother of the late Gilda Sousa, Jose Raposo, Maria Helena Simoes, Basilo Raposo, Gilda Marie Raposo, and had several nieces and nephews.

His Funeral arrangements, under the care of the Silva-Faria Funeral Homes, were private.
