Antonio M. Rocha, 85, of Tiverton, RI, husband of Maria M. (Martins) Rocha, passed away at home on Sunday, October 22, 2023. Born in Ribeira Grande, St. Michael, Azores, a son of the late Egas Nunes Rocha and the late Maria da Conceicao (do Rego) Rocha, he emigrated to Fall River in 1975 and resided in Tiverton for the past 38 years.

He was employed at Pearson Yachts of Portsmouth for about 18 years, then worked for 17 years as a carrier with PrimaCare. Antonio was a member of the Lusitano Club and enjoyed watching, and listening to, the soccer games – his favorite team was Benfica.

Besides his wife, of 59 years, he is survived by three siblings, Fatima Cardoza, Madelena Rocha, and Teresa Rocha all of Canada, and many nieces and nephews. Antonio was also the brother of the late Joao Rocha and Cordelina Rocha.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, October 27th, at Good Shepherd Parish Church followed by his committal and entombment at the Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum both in Fall River.
