Antonio T. Ferreira, 70, of Fall River, husband of the late Teresa (Carreiro) Ferreira, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 2. Born in St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria (Torres) Ferreira. Antonio was a tool maker by trade for many years prior to his retirement. He was a humorous guy with a very dry sense of humor. An avid Patriots and Red Sox fan, he also enjoyed cooking and painting on canvas. He leaves his three sons, Robert Ferreira and his wife Andrea of Somerset , Michael and Bryan Ferreira both of Fall River ; two daughters, Sandra Levesque of New Bedford and Kayla Ferreira of Fall River; and his granddaughter, Angel of Fall River. Antonio was also the father of the late Caroline Ferreira. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, March 8th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal and entombment in the Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
