Antonio V. "Pilote" Viveiros, 79, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Hilda (Moreira) Viveiros. Born in Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Antonio V. Viveiros, Sr. and the late Rosa (Medeiros da Costa) Viveiros. For many years, he worked as a construction laborer with various firms, having worked the longest with William P. Capone Construction Co. of Boston. He was a parishioner at Espirito Santo Church and a member of the Holy Name Society. Besides his wife of 52 years, he is survived by: two daughters, Donna Bettencourt (husband Thomas) and Lori Ann Viveiros, both of Fall River; his two precious granddaughters, Jillian and Caitlyn Bettencourt; siblings, Jose Viveiros of Swansea, Silvana Carvalho and Gilda Viveiros, both of Fall River; many nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Susan Marie Viveiros, and brother of the late Manuel Viveiros, Sophia Benjamin and Maria Rosa Viveiros. His funeral Mass was celebrated in Espirito Santo Church. He was laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemetery.
