Armando Cabral, 96, of Fall River, husband of the late Maria Cabral, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 in the comforts of his daughter's home after a brief illness.

Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Fernao Cabral and the late Libana (Dores) Cabral.

Prior to his retirement, he worked as a laborer in the construction business for many years. Considered to be a "jack-of-all trades", he also loved gardening, cooking, tending to his grapevines, and hosting his annual Memorial Day cookouts with his family. Armando was a very good storyteller, recalling and delivering detailed accounts from many years ago. He also enjoyed frequently traveling back to his homeland in Biera Alta to visit family.

He leaves: his loving daughter, Maria A. Bernardo (late husband, Luis); his sister, Alzira Cabral (late husband, Antonio); and many nieces and nephews. He was also the grandfather of the late Michael Bernardo.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, November 30th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
