Armando S. Pereira, 84, of Fall River, passed away Sunday after a long illness. Husband of the late Maria Odete Pereira. Born in Terceira, Azores, son of the late Jose and Rosa (Augusta) Pereira. He worked for many years at the former Arkwright Finishing Co. and was a parishioner of the former Our Lady of Health Church. Beloved father of Joseph L. (wife-Flor) and Carlos A. Pereira; grandfather of Steven (wife-Stephanie), Allison and Samantha Pereira; great grandfather of Briannah, Chloey, Steven (Jr.) and Devan; brother of Alzira Pereira, Carmeria Rua and the late Belao Melo, Belmira Cabral, Jose and Francisco Pereira. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, September 25, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
