Arminda C. Da Estrela, 78, of Fall River, passed away Thursday after an extended illness. Widow of Jose Da Estrela. Born in Agua Retorta, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Manuel and Maria Isabel (Cabral) Pereira Damaso. A retired sewing machine operator, she was the beloved mother of Gabriel Estrela (wife-Eduarda); grandmother of Aimee Cyr and Joseph Estrela; great grandmother of Jade, Nevaeh and Noah; sister of Gaudino Damaso and the late Manuel and Joao Damaso, Jorge Cabral and Maria Estrela. Arminda also leaves several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, July, 9, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
