Ashley Shana Gouveia, 26, of Fall River, passed away Saturday June 20, 2020 the result of injuries sustained in a car accident. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of Catija (Mussagy) Gouveia, of Fall River, and the late Eduino A. Gouveia. She was employed as a personal care attendant with Greater Boston Home Health Care Services.

A BMC Durfee High School graduate, Class of 2011, she had also attended Bristol Community College. She loved to dance and sing, and enjoyed volleyball and cheerleading. Ashley was a fun-loving, caring, outgoing individual, who loved spending time with her family and friends – and she was a super mom to her 2-year old son, Amir, the star in her life whom she cherished more than anything.

Besides her son and mother, she is survived by: five siblings, Peter Gouveia, Joe Gouveia (wife Marisa), Elias Gouveia, Lucy Gouveia, and Oggy Gouveia (girlfriend Hollie Angel) all of Fall River; 13 nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and many friends. She was also a sister of the late Herminio "Eddy" Gouveia.

Public calling hours were held on Sunday, June 28th, in our Fall River Chapel. Her private funeral was held on Monday, June 29th, with the celebrating of Her Funeral Mass in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
