Baltasar P Resendes, 69, of Tiverton, formerly of Orange St., Fall River passed away January 9, 2009 unexpectedly. Husband of Maria Lucilia (Resendes) Resendes. Born in Faial da Terra, St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Manuel M. and Artemisia (Pereira) Resendes. A finished carpenter by trade, he had worked at several boat yards. He was a member of the Don Carlos Club. He was father of Robert J. Resendes; grandfather of Zachary, Natalie and Alex Resendes; brother of Alda Resendes and the late Robert P. Resendes. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. His funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Theresa's Church on Tuesday (1/13) followed by his committal service at Notre Dame Cemetery. Pallbearers were Nelson, Isaac, Robert, Robert and Robert Resendes, Joe Fonseca and John Torres.
