Barbara (Mello) Thibault, 91, widow of Reginald Thibault, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017, at the Catholic Memorial Home. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Frank Mello and the late Winifred (Galvin) Medeiros, formerly Mello, she lived in Tiverton most of her life – moving to Swansea in 1998, and later residing in Somerset.

In her younger days Barbara was employed for many years at the former Wagner Hat Shop of Fall River, then worked as a clerk throughout the 1990s at Quality Cleaners in Portsmouth, RI. She was a member of St. Dominic's Church, Swansea.

She survived by: 2 children, Arlene Harnett of Somerset and Allan Thibault (spouse Barbara) of Swansea; 5 grandchildren, Keith Harnett (spouse Bridget) of Fall River, Kerri Harnett (spouse Dale Oller) of Somerset, Matthew Thibault (spouse Debra) of Swansea, Amanda and Elizabeth Thibault both of Swansea; 4 great grandchildren, Devin Harnett of Somerset, Bri-Ann Harnett of Fall River, Holley Thibault and Luke Vieira both of Swansea; many nieces and nephews. Barbara was also the sister of the late Louis Mello.

Her Funeral Service was held on Friday, May 12th, in our Somerset Chapel followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider making a donation in her memory to a charity of your choice.
