Beatrice (Janeiro) Cordeiro, age 89, formerly of Fall River, passed away Monday, December 17, 2007, at the Somerset Ridge Nursing Center in Somerset, MA. Born in Portsmouth, RI, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Janeiro and the late Theresa (Alves) Janeiro. A Fall River resident for most of her life, she was a parishioner of the former Our Lady of the Angels Church. Surviving family members include a son, Paul Cordeiro of Somerset, a sister, Adeline Calvo of Fall River, a brother, James Janeiro of Hollidaysburg, PA, a son-in-law, Butch Fernandes of Fall River, a granddaughter, Allison La Cava of Somerset, a grandson, Scott Fernandes of Fort Myers, FL, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Eleanor Fernandes, and a sister of the late Manuel Janeiro and Anibal Janeiro. At the request of Mrs. Cordeiro her Funeral Services were private.
