Beatrice Farias, 87, formerly of Cedar Cove Road, Swansea passed away Tuesday at Dighton Nursing Home. Widow of John Farias. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Mello) Caetano. A retired textile worker, she resided in Swansea for most of her life. An avid ten pin bowler, she bowled at Somerset Holiday Lanes until she was 78. She enjoyed gardening and, in her younger days, roller skating at Lincoln Park. She is survived by two sisters Rosalina Motta and Lucy Arruda (husband John) and several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Duarte Caetano and Phoebe Raposa. Her Funeral Service was held on Friday (3/6) at the Silva-Faria SOMERSET Funeral Home, 84 County St. Committal services followed where she was entombed at Notre Dame Mausoleum.
