Beatrice A. Medeiros, 75, of Fall River, passed away Friday after a long illness. Wife of Augustine T. Medeiros. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Antonio and Mary (Mello) Pontes; beloved mother of Betty-Ann Hickey (husband-Dennis James) of Louisiana; grandmother of James Patrick Hickey; stepmother of Paul Medeiros and Joanne Pacheco; sister of James A. and Irene A. Pontes, Edna A. Souza and the late Elaine A. Pontes and Mary T. Perry. She also leaves 5 step grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, November 20, in St Michael Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
