Fall River

Obituary

Beatrice Mosa, 89, of Fall River, wife of the late William A. Mosa, passed away peacefully on Tuesday at Charlton Memorial Hospital.  Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late John and Linda (Abdelnour) George.  A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee, she worked in the local garment industry and as a hairdresser.  She was also proprietor of Mosa's Variety.  Before retirement, she worked as a paraprofessional at Kuss Middle School.  She was also a life-long member of the Blessed Mother Guild and Lebanon-American Ladies Auxilliary. Beatrice was a talented seamstress and enjoyed her Wednesday afternoon card games with her life-long friends.  A master Lebanese cook, she loved to prepare meals for her beloved family and friends.  Most importantly, she taught her children and grandchildren compassion, empathy, generosity, forgiveness, and acceptance through example.  She leaves:  her children, William J. Mosa of Honolulu, Hawaii, Cheryl M. Jones of Fall River, and Linda Little and her husband Jeffrey of Fall River; grandchildren, Alexander Jones, Nicholas Little, and Jared Little; sister-in-laws, Tiffy Riling and Martha George.  Her boundless love for family also extended to her several nieces, nephews, and cousins in Connecticut, Texas, Mexico, and Michigan as well as the Fall River area.  Beatrice was also the sister of the late John George.  Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, April 14th, in St. Anthony of the Desert Church followed by her committal and entombment at the Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
