Beatrice Pevide, 96, of Somerset and wife of the late Louis Pevide, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Jose Motta and the late Maria (Paiva) Motta.

Beatrice was an exceptional homemaker who loved to clean, always keeping her home spotless and neat. A devout Catholic, she also enjoyed cooking, knitting and crocheting.

She leaves: her loving children, Thomas Pevide and Judith Pevide, both of Somerset; Godchildren, Janice Marie Pevide and Madeline (Pevide) Flaherty; and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Her private funeral was held on Wednesday, November 24th, from our Somerset Chapel followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River.
