Bella K. (Silvia) Ferreira, 84, of Swansea, passed away Monday after an extended illness. She was the wife of Edward W. Ferreira, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage. Born in Tiverton, RI, daughter of the late Jessie & Mary (Tenheira) Silvia. A retired textile worker, she was an active member of the Happy Hearts Club in Berkley, MA. Survivors include sons, Edward W. Ferreira, Jr. (wife – Claudia), Barry James Ferreira (companion – Gail), and Johnathan Ferreira (wife – Karen); a daughter, Robin Ann Holt (husband – Alan); a brother, Manuel Silvia; sisters, Rose Costa and Mary Furgundies; grandchildren, Kyle, Jasson, Joshua, Dylan, Ashley & Carley; great grandchildren, Michael, Jacob, Katherine & Angelique; and several nieces and nephews. She was also great grandmother of the late Victoria Lynn and sister of the late Raymond Silvia, Jessie Silvia, Georgianna Stanacanis and Julia Lindsey. Her funeral service was celebrated in the Silva-Faria Somerset Funeral Home in Somerset. Her committal service was held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Swansea.
