Bella (Rapoza) Nunes, 90, of Belleview Ave., Tiverton, passed away on April 16, 2009 after a long illness. Widow of Peter C. Nunes. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Jesse and Mary (Rocha) Rapoza. A Tiverton resident since 1957, she was a retired textile worker and greatly enjoyed knitting and crochet. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Nunes of Swansea; sisters, Alice and Theresa Rapoza, both of Fall River; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; nephew, Johnny Botelho; and niece, Marylou Fanfara. She was also sister of the late Lucy Botelho and Florence Rapoza; and aunt of the late James Botelho. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Louis de France Church in Swansea. Pallbearers Doug DeMarco, Bob Miranda, Mark DeMarco, Jeremy Correia, Jordan Correia, Cheryl Miranda brought Bella to her final resting place at Notre Dame Cemetery.
