Bento "Benny" Rodrigues, 71, of Fall River passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at home following a long illness. Born in Fall River, he was the eldest son of the late Bento Rodrigues and the late Jeanette (Isabel) Rodrigues.

By trade, Benny was a respected diesel mechanic/transmission specialist for most of his life. Benny's life passion was deep sea fishing and boating.  He always had a love for the ocean.

He leaves his loving daughter, Jennifer Gaboriault and her wife, Christine, of Swansea and his eight grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Eddie Rodrigues, Janice Dupuis, Laurie Schmidt, all of Fall River, and Christopher Rodrigues and his wife, Sue, of Alabama; his life-time best friend and companion, Sharon Burns; and  many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Paul Rodrigues.

His private service was held on Wednesday, March 30th, from in our Fall River Chapel followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery..
