Bertha Irene Cordeiro, 77, of Somerset, wife of the late Edward Antone Cordeiro, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 17, 2025, at home surrounded by her granddaughter, Stacy Silvia, of Somerset and her great-grandson, Tyler Botelho, of Somerset. Born in Cranston, RI, she was the daughter of the late Everett Austin Bass and the late Ida Dora (Shaw) Bass.

Prior to retirement she worked as a housekeeper for many years. She loved gardening and traveling to Canada and throughout the United States. She also enjoyed playing video games, doing puzzles, and collecting owls.

She leaves her daughters, Karen Silva, of Pennsylvania, Julia Estella, of Fall River, Robin Silvia, of Fall River and Rhonda Cilley, of Tiverton, RI; her brothers Edward Bass, of Oklahoma, and Donald Bass of Vermont; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Her funeral arrangements were private.
