Beverly A. Borden, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 22, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Charles "Billy" Borden for 58 years. Beverly was born in Fall River, MA and was the daughter of the late John Franco and Veronica (Panocz) Franco. She lived in Westport, MA for many years before moving to California in 2005.
Employed for many years as a teacher assistant for the Fall River School Department at the Wixon School, Beverly was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will always be remembered for her kindness, warmth and love of family. She was also a faithful Neil Diamond fan who saw him in concert countless times.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Jon Borden and grandchildren Stephen and Avian of Olympic Valley, CA, sister Paula M. Desmarais and her husband Armand, brother Stephen Franco and his wife Elaine of Fall River, sister-in-law Colleen Franco of Fall River and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the loving mother of the late Stephen Borden and the sister of the late Michael ("Mickey"), Robert, John and Thomas Franco, Marion Paulo, Veronica Ferreira and Cynthia Beaulieu.
Following her cremation in California, Her Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, July 5th, from our Fall River Chapel with a committal service at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
