Bradford J. Lo Verde, 70, of Tiverton, Rhode Island, passed away unexpectedly after suffering a heart attack on Saturday, February 15, 2020.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he was a son of the late Salvatore Lo Verde and the late Hope (Euart) Lo Verde.
Prior to his passing, he was a chef, having worked at various restaurants and institutions throughout his career. Brad loved golfing, cooking, and the ocean. An accomplished musician, he also enjoyed playing the saxophone and guiding his son, Daniel, with his drum lessons. He was a very attentive Dad and was always involved in his children's activities. He was a grateful member of a 12 step fellowship, enjoying recovery for 14 years. His food and razor-sharp wit will forever be missed.
He leaves: his children, Karen Lo Verde of Maine, Bradford D. Lo Verde of Cranston, Payton Thibert, and Daniel Lo Verde, of Tiverton, Rhode Island; a grandson, David Barber, of Newport, Rhode Island; two brothers, Bartholomew C. Lo Verde and his companion, Laura Harris, of Swansea, and Laurence J. Lo Verde and his companion, Robin Pavao, of Fall River; and one niece, Ava C. Lo Verde of Fall River. He was also the father of the late Lisa Lo Verde and Kristen Lo Verde.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, February 29th, in St. Theresa Church, Tiverton, RI. A Celebration of His life followed at River to Recovery, 1507 Pleasant St., Fall River.
