Brenda M. Pacheco, 71, of Fall River, widow of Kenneth Pacheco, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at home. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Cyril Talbot and the late Belmira (Amaral) Costa, formerly Talbot. Brenda grew up in Fall River, resided in California with her husband for 30 years, then returned to Fall River for the remainder of her life.

She worked as a bank manager for many years at BankFive, retiring about 10 years ago. Brenda was a competitive ballroom dancer and an artist who loved to paint. She loved the beach and spending time with family and friends. Brenda loved animals, especially horses and the Kentucky Derby. She was also a "foodie" who enjoyed cooking and dining out.

She is survived by: five siblings, Carolyn Alpalhao (husband Joseph) of Bristol, RI, Thomas J. Talbot (wife Maria) of Fall River, Marianne McGlynn (husband Robert) of Tiverton, RI, William Costa (wife Nancy) of St. Petersburg, NY, and James Costa (wife Sueann) of Somerset; and many nieces and nephews. She was also a sister of the late Kenneth M. Talbot.

Private cremation arrangements were with the Silva-Faria Funeral Home. The family plans for a memorial service to be held sometime during the month of May at the Calvary Temple Church. Please check back at that time for details.
