Brenda L. Pomprowicz, 64, of Swansea, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, surrounded by her beloved husband and children.

Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, and friend, known for her boundless love and selflessness. After graduating high school, she married her husband, Alan, with whom she shared 44 wonderful years. Together, they built a loving family while Brenda worked as a school bus driver for Tremblay's Bus Company. She took great joy in her work, especially in connecting with the children she transported, and appreciated the schedule, which allowed her to be home for her own family.

A true matriarch, Brenda cherished every moment spent with family and friends, many of whom she considered extended family. She had a passion for hosting and attending gatherings, whether it was a holiday, birthday, wedding, or backyard cookout. Brenda's greatest joy in life was bringing her loved ones together, and she lived for those moments of connection.

Brenda was also an avid animal lover. She cared deeply for her own pets, including her beloved Peewee, and doted on her many "grand pups" and "grand kitties" over the years. Her home was always open to the latest furry addition her children brought into the family.

Brenda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, cousin, aunt, and friend. Her heart was generous, her spirit nurturing, and her presence a source of comfort and support for all who knew her. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—conversations with friends, leisurely drives, beach days, vacations, casino trips, and shopping. She believed in living life to the fullest, loving deeply, and appreciating every moment.

Brenda was predeceased by her parents, Henry Ferland and Lorraine Craven. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Alan Pomprowicz, and their two children, Alan Pomprowicz Jr. and Allison Pomprowicz. She adored her children's spouses, Erin and Jacquelyn, and embraced them as her own. Brenda also leaves behind her brothers, Scott Ferland and Gregory Ferland, along with their spouses, Charleen and Jess. Brenda leaves behind a brother Christopher and a sister Lisa as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and dear friends. She touched countless lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Her cremation arrangements were private. A private service to celebrate her life is being planned for a later date to honor Brenda's memory.
