Obituary

Brian Michael Page, age 67, of Somerset, Massachusetts, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014, at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston, following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (McCann) Page. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Walter Page and the late Mary (Hally) Page. Brian was a graduate of Boston College and Southern Connecticut. He worked in the Fall River School System for ten years as a School Adjustment Counselor and then spent the last thirty-five years employed in the golf industry. He enjoyed playing golf and watching all of the Boston sports teams. It must not go unsaid; Brian was a lover of animals, especially his dear golden retrievers Abbie and Emmy. All who loved him will miss Brian's kind heart and quick wit. In addition to Barbara, his wife of twenty-eight years, surviving family members include his son, Brendan J. Page (wife Melissa) of Arizona, stepchildren; Kathleen Cwikla of Fall River, Kristine Cwikla Dawson (husband Lee) of New Hampshire and Michael Cwikla (wife Nicole) of Oregon, his beloved sisters; Maureen Crowe, Judy Page and Maribeth Hedgpeth, and his Mother-In-Law, Dorothy McCann. Brian was devoted to his grandchildren Haley Page, Lauren Page, Sarah Page, Chad Moore, Nathan Ashton, Molly Ashton, Katie Dawson, Bryce Dawson, Connor Cwikla and his great-granddaughter Elli Raposo. He also leaves many nieces and nephews whom he loved, as well as many dear friends. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, June 4, in St. Thomas More Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
