Briolanja Oliveira, 87, of Fall River, passed away on Saturday. Widow of Joao Oliveira. Born in Lombinha da Maia, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Manuel & Julia (Branco) Mota. Survivors include a son, Joao Carlos Oliveira of Somerset; daughters, Maria Teresa Moniz and Anna Paula Pimentel, both of Fall River; brothers, Iduino Mota and Germano Mota, both of Fall River; sisters, Liliana Melo and Germana Moniz, both of Fall River; grandchildren, Michael, Richard, Stephanie, Stacy, Corey, Ashley, Amanda and Amy; great grandchildren, Kiara, Lacey, Juliana, Mckenna, Macy and Ethan; and several nieces and nephews. She was also mother of the late Jose Oliveira. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, August 11, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
