Carlene (Rezendes) Knights, 61, of Somerset, died Sunday, July 27, at home, with her loving family by her side, after a long illness. Daughter of the late Mary Gastall and Carlos Rezendes, she enjoyed being by the ocean and spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by her husband, Francis "Rocky" Knights; daughter, Amanda Swist Benjamin (husband-Arthur) of Fall River; grandchildren, Evan and Dean Benjamin; brothers, William Gastall of Key West FL, Peter Rezendes of Seattle, WA; sister, Mildred Levesque of Swansea and several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late John and Catherine Gastall, Patricia Wilkes and Mary Bouchard. At her request the family will host a private ash burial at sea. Contributions in her honor may be made to the American Cancer Society.
