Carlos E. Bly, 46, of Fall River and formerly of Providence, RI passed away unexpectedly on Saturday. He was the life partner of Bernadette Ozug. Born in Boston, he was the son of Ethel "Nikki" (Smith) Bly of Jeffersonville, IN. Carlos was a chef at Acoaxet Country Club in Westport, was known for being a "professional aggravator" and enjoyed grilling, fishing and camping. Survivors include sons, Christopher Bly and Carlos Bly, Jr., both of Fall River; daughters, Vanessa Leigh Bly and Madeline Niccole Bly, both of Fall River; grandfather, Roy Carson of Pennington Gap, VA; brothers, Steven D. Bly Sr. of Jeffersonville, IN and Aaron M. Bly, Sr. of Clarksville, IN; grandchildren, Malahkia Aden Bly and Calia Rose Bly; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Following a gathering of family and friends at our Fall River Chapel on Saturday, May 5, arrangements were made for his cremation.
