He enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family, especially his children and grandchildren.  Carlos was a kindhearted man, loved and respected by his friends and family.

Besides his wife, he leaves: four children, Carlos A. Camara (wife Dora) of Lakeville, Alfonso M. Camara (wife Monique) of Attleboro, Daniel Camara (wife Sharon) of Dartmouth, and Liberto Camara (wife Lisa) of Fall River; one brother, Afonso Camara of Fall River; eight grandchildren, Joshua, Korynn, Matthew, Kayla, Makenna, Casey, Madysen, and Christopher; and many nieces & nephews. He was also a brother of the late Manuel Camara, Maria Raposo, Ermelinda Carvalho, Jose Camara, Mariana Arruda, and Angelo Camara.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, April 8th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
