Carlos Cordeiro Medeiros, 69, of North Dighton, husband of Maria Natalia (Aguiar) Medeiros, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Mass General Hospital in Boston. Born in Sete Cidades, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Luis and Irondina (Cordeiro) Medeiros. Prior to his retirement he worked as a maintenance mechanic for many years. He loved fishing, camping with his family, gardening, and keeping his property in meticulous condition. Carlos also enjoyed making his own wine, family cookouts, traveling, especially to the Azores and Florida, and simply relaxing on his deck. Very generous of his time, he was always willing to help anyone in need. Besides his wife of forty-two years, he leaves: his daughter, Monica Medeiros Cunha and her husband, Christopher, of North Dighton; two grandchildren, Natasha Cunha and Alexandra Cunha; three sisters, Candida Santos and her husband, Alberto, of Fall River, Susie Amaral and her husband, Messias, of Westport, and Nelia Pasteris and her husband, Aaron; five brothers, Jorge Medeiros and his wife, Manuela, Mario Medeiros and his wife, Teresa, of Fall River, Francisco Medeiros and his wife, Neves, of Somerville, Duarte Medeiros and his wife, Herminia, of Toronto, Canada, and Antonio-Manuel Medeiros and his wife ,Filomena, of New Bedford; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Scotty Medeiros and brother of the late Luis Medeiros and Manuel Medeiros. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, May 14th, in St. John of God Church in Somerset followed by his committal and entombment  in the Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum in Fall River.
