Carlos M. Raposo, age 82, of Fall River, husband of Maria "Arminda" (Silva) Raposo, passed away at St. Anne's Hospital on Saturday, October 17, 2020 after a long illness. Born in Agua Retorta, St. Michael, Azores, a son of the late Manuel Raposo Marques and the late Honorina (Pereira) Marques, he emigrated to Fall River in January of 1966.

He was employed at Plymouth Rubber Co. for 28 years, retiring in 1998.

Besides his wife, of 54 years, he is survived by: three daughters, Alda Raposo of Orlando, FL, Susan Raposo of Fall River, and Michelle Raposo of Fall River; two siblings, Gil Marques of Fall River and Maria Papoula of Fall River; three grandchildren, Elijah, Landon, and Chloe; many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Cidaliza Amaral and Manuel Marques.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, October 21st, in St. Anthony of Padua Church, followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
