Carlos A. Raposo, age 82, of Belmont St., died Saturday at Rhode Island Hospital. Husband of the late Mariana (Medeiros) Raposo. Born in Bretanha, Sao Miguel, Azores, son of the late Augusto and Maria do Carmo (Arruda) Raposo Furtado. He immigrated to this country in 1987. He was the father of Fernando M., Carlos M. and Paulo V. Raposo all of Fall River, Joao M Raposo of East Providence, Antonio M. Raposo of Providence, Maria Brosseau of Wareham and the late Maria Couto. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters, 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated by Father James Ferry on Wednesday (10/31) in Espirito Santo Church. Committal services, officiated by Deacon Thomas Souza, followed at St Patrick Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bill Brosseau, Dee Couto, Chris Raposo, Jose Vieira, Kenny Duarte and Shawn Miranda.
