Carlos C. Sardinha, 83, of Fall River, husband of Margarida (Soares) Sardinha, died Tuesday 2/10/15 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Agua Retorta, St Michael, Azores, son of the late Benjamin M. & Rosa (Carreiro Tabicas) Sardinha, he emigrated to Fall River in 1949. He retired from the former Elbe File, and enjoyed fishing & gardening. Besides his wife, of 56 years, he leaves: 2 sons, twins Daniel S. & David S. Sardinha both of Fall River; 4 brothers, Manuel M. Sardinha of Swansea, Jose C., Tiberio C. and Angelo C. Sardinha all of Fall River; many nieces and nephews. Also brother of the late Maria Torres, Lazaro, Rosa & Luis Sardinha, and twins Luiz & Rosa Sardinha. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, February 17, in St Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
