Carlos Alberto Teixeira, age 54, of 379 Ferry St., Fall River, died January 2, 2008 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Agua Retorta, St. Michael , Azores, he was the son of the late Manuel and Maria (Carreiro Souza) DaSilva. He is survived by his longtime companion, Lidia Cavaco; 4 children, Carlos Teixeira, Caroline Hiett, Jessie Smith and Daniel Teixeira; 2 step-children, Carlos and Paul Cavaco; 3 brothers, Jose Silva, Manuel Sousa and Flavio Teixeira; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends attended his memorial mass which was offered at St Anthony of Padua Church. His cremation arrangements were private.
