Carlos A. Vultao, 71, of Fall River, husband of Maria Margarida (Bulhoes), former husband of the late Rose (DaPonte) Vultao, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at St. Anne’s Hospital.

Born in Santa Barbara, Santo Antonio, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel Vultao and the late Silvana (Belchar) daSilva.

Prior to retirement, Carlos owned and operated Vultao and Sons. He was a very devoted member of Our Lady of Light Band, giving a helping hand in the kitchen and even served as bartender when needed. An avid Porto Fan, he loved soccer, fishing, and arts and crafts.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Elton Vultao of Somerset, Luis Vultao and his wife Nimue, of Dartmouth, Shanne Vultao and his wife Ana, of Fall River, and Silvana Vultao, of Dartmouth; grandchildren, Gabriela DaCosta, Dante Vultao, Logan Vultao, and Viviana Vultao; siblings Nicolau Vultao, of St. Michael, Azores, and Luis Vultao, of Canada; and many nieces and nephews. Carlos is predeceased by his siblings: Manuel Vultao, Afonso Vultao, Eduardo Vultao, Josè Vultao, Adelaide Vultao, Inês Vultao, Orcelina Vultao, Conceição Vultao, and Fátima Vultao.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Visitation to be held in Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford Street, Fall River, on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 10:00 am in Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford Street, Fall River. Committal Service and interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
