Carol A. Marques, 58, of 547 Palmer St, passed away on October 14,2008 after a short illness. Wife of Francisco R. "Mouse" Marques, III. Born in Fall River and a lifelong resident, daughter of Jeanette (Lafleur) Pearson of Fall River and the late Hector Pearson. She retired in 2003 from the Mass. Dept of Revenue where she had worked since 1987. Her career with the State began in 1968 as a case worker with the Dept of Welfare. Carol was a loving stepmother of Steven J. Marques, Timothy H. Marques (wife Ilda) and the late Amy Elizabeth Marques; enjoyed spoiling her granddaughter, Cassandra Elizabeth. Also leaves several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and godchildren. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church on Saturday (10/18) followed by her committal service at St. Patrick Cemetery. Her pallbearers were Dennis Wholey, Manuel Botelho, Wilfred Autote, John Andrade, Mark Gamache and Richard Jacques.
