Carole A.
Costa
d. Dec 2, 2023
Carole A. Costa, 74, of Fall River, wife of Antone Costa, Jr., passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the Catholic Memorial Home following a long illness. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Manuel Couto and the late Deolinda (Couto) Couto.
Prior to her retirement she worked as a Head Teller for Bank of America for many years. Carole's passion, love, and devotion for her family was clearly undeniable. She was known as "Grammy" to many, loved holiday gatherings, shopping and sleepovers with her grandchildren, and simply enjoyed spending quality time with all of her family.
Besides her loving husband of fifty-five years, she leaves her children, Gregory Costa and his wife, Jennifer, of Swansea, Michael Costa and his wife, Lisa, of Somerset, Mark Costa and his wife, Tracy, of Fall River, and Lynn Costa and her significant other, Orlando Vieira, of Fall River; her seven grandchildren, Chelsie Lima, Aubrey Perry, Mitchell Costa, Sydney Costa, Brenden Vieira, Gillian Costa, and Benjamin Costa; two great-grandchildren, Theo Lima and Reynna Perry; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the grandmother of the late Lauren Elisabeth Costa and sister of the late Robert Couto, Joan Aguiar, and Peter Couto.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, December 7th, in Espírito Santo Church followed by her committal at St Patrick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation in Carole's memory to: Catholic Memorial Home's Activities Department, 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River, MA 02720.
