Catherine R. Souza, formerly Marshall and formerly of Fall River, 87, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Orchard View Manor in Riverside, RI. Widow of Joseph A. Marshall and Alfred Souza. Born in Fall River and a lifetime resident, she was daughter of the late Antone and Mary Rapoza. A member of the ILGWU, she worked at the former Center Garment Co. for over 20 years. Mrs. Souza enjoyed traveling and loved to sing for her family and friends. Kay is survived by her 4 children, Joseph (wife – Joanne) and Paul (wife – Jariya) Marshall, both of Fall River, Larry Marshall of San Diego, CA and Linda Marshall-Pierce (widow of Paul) of Pawtucket, RI; six stepchildren, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in Holy Name Church. Pallbearers Dan Shareste, Dennis Souza, Kevin Michael, Ken Pierce, Bob Charpentier and Jimmy Butler brought Catherine to her final resting place at St. Patrick Cemetery.
