Cecelia Y. Silvia, 73, of Fall River, died at home Tuesday 1/27/15. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late George Silvia & Mary Amelia (Silva) Walsh, she had worked for many years at American Tourister, formerly of Warren, RI. She leaves: a daughter, Marie Bird (husband Frank); 2 siblings, George A. Silvia & Madeline Champagne; a step-sister, Theresa Amaral; 2 grandchildren, Francis (wife Sarah) & Joshua (fiancée Ashley Parziale) Bird; 5 great grandchildren, Alexis, Cameron, Shealya, Joseph & Evelyn; several nieces & nephews. Prior to her cremation, calling hours were held on Friday, January 30, at our Fall River Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to a charity of your choice.
