Cecile Anna Carrier, 93, of Fall River, died Sunday 9/4/16 at Catholic Memorial Home. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Francois X. and Elizabeth H. (Gaudreau) Carrier, she had also lived in Bridgeport, CT for 50 years, moving back to Fall River in 2014. Like "Rosie the Riveter," she and her twin sister helped the war effort working together in a shipyard, where she would cut port-holes (as a 'burner'), while her twin welded doors. She was also a hat maker and a dress maker. She is survived by several nieces & nephews – including her caretaker, Peter Bedard (wife Julia) of Fall River. Sister of the late Roland Carrier, and Juliet Catania, her fraternal twin. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, September 9th, in St. Bernadette Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
