Cecilia R. Jacob, 63, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2023 in the comforts of her home following a long illness. Born in Remedios, Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Joao T. Jacob and the late Mariana (Raposo) Jacob.

Prior to her illness she worked as an assembler for Tech Etch for many years.  Cecilia loved to joke, laugh, and, most importantly, spend quality time with all of her family. She also enjoyed cookouts, entertaining, puzzles, Pictionary, and cards. A kind-hearted and caring woman, she was always willing to help anyone in need. A devout Catholic, Cecilia was a long-time member of the Mordomia, Our Lady of the Rosary Society, CYO Folk Group, and the Espirito Santo Church choir. Cecilia will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves her loving and devoted sisters and brothers, Helena Constantino and her husband, Jose, Joao R. Jacob and his wife, Maria, Maria J. Raposo (late husband, Manuel), Mariana J. Cabral and her husband, Americo, Manuel Jacob, and Odilia Miguel, all of Fall River. Cecilia also leaves many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. She was the sister of the late Jose Jacob and the late Manuel Jacob.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, January 25th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
